But I'm always ready to invest in a bit if I think it will help, and if they don't work I can always sell it on!Roosa's Horsey Lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04827410009484558113noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5514570043236701833.post-24647532293300912642017-10-26T16:53:23.182+03:002017-10-26T16:53:23.182+03:00This bit sounds great! But the straight eggbutt(mullen mouth), he completely changed and became so soft. It's amazing how something so small can make such a difference!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05743345719873640899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5514570043236701833.post-39795541826393786612017-10-25T20:56:44.910+03:002017-10-25T20:56:44.910+03:00Never used that particular bit before, but Pig req...Never used that particular bit before, but Pig required an eggbutt for a long time. He didn't like the instability of a loose ring very much at all! Good luck with the trotting!Austenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13004088333430762406noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5514570043236701833.post-88835931484291594332017-10-24T22:29:13.064+03:002017-10-24T22:29:13.064+03:00I am very blessed with horses who don't seem t...I am very blessed with horses who don't seem to mind the bit I use on them. I occasionally use a stronger, more corrective bit, and Hot Rod just kinda gives me the side-eye. Western bits can get scary fast. They can get expensive fast, too, but I'm sure that's the same for english tack as well. I hope yours works out!Rocking E Cowgirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02196564322911201897noreply@blogger.com
