No brakes!

Turnout in a grass paddock first time in months

Despite my attempt at being sneaky and clever by riding Vallu as soon as he'd come in from the field, we had absolutely no breaks today when I rode in the indoor for the first time... But it was so nice to see how happy he was when turned out, totally chilled (apart from when horses walked past his paddock) Vallu even rolled and half way through stayed lying down to grab a mouthful of grass.

I'm happy to report that there was no spooking today, just no brakes whatsoever :D A big trot and a massive canter, and it was with great difficulty that I managed to get him on a 20m circle... It was like riding a youngster. Funny horse. If the weather is better tomorrow I want to take him for a walk up and down the drive for a warm up and cool down walk so fingers crossed for having more braking ability tomorrow ;)
