We've moved!

Yes you did read that title right! After two years in wonderful Wiltshire, it was time to move again. But this time, we've moved somewhere which is quite literally a slice of heaven here on Earth. I have been SO excited for the last few months but trying to keep this quiet because I didn't want to jinx it until everything was agreed and sorted out, but then everything got too busy. But now that we're here I am over the moon to share this news with you all 🥳

And in case you couldn't guess from the photos, we're moving back to Finland 🇫🇮 There's nothing quite like hard Brexit, a world wide health pandemic and the death of your grandparents, your dog and one of your horses to really teach you what you actually want from life and that the best place to live is somewhere close to your family and somewhere that is safe. I don't ever want to be stuck in another country away from my family if something like this ever happens again, it's not an experience that needs repeating.

So let me give you a quick look at our new home here at Juniper Hill Stables ⤵️

The barn with a hay storage area upstairs

Inside the main barn there are 11 stables and a little pony stable, and then slightly further away there is another little barn with 3 more stables. The main barn has a wash box and a separate area with a solarium, as well as the normal tack room, storage and feed rooms. The barn itself is right next to the full sized outdoor arena as well being very close to my own little house, and slightly further away is the main house. On the other side of the 'road' there is the full size indoor arena 😍 And there are mirrors in the indoor which is so exciting as I've been entirely reliant upon videos and photos for keeping my posture for the last two years, I know the mirrors will help a lot with this! And no more riding big horses on a small arena 🙌🏻 

As well as all the amazing facilities, I'm really excited to have more land. Overall there is 15 hectares (37 acres) of land, of which 11 hectares (27 acres) is paddocks and the rest is woodland. There is a track that goes to some of the fields which will be a great pre/post-ride walk, but then in the surrounding woodlands there's a ton of long hacking routes as well 🌳
